twenty2 degrees is redesigning the Wyndham Grand Algarve, the first Wyndham Grand in Portugal.
We found inspiration in the verdant location of Ria Formosa Natural Park which surrounds the hotel as well as in the hues and warm sunlight of the pleasant year-round climate. The materiality of the scheme is of the highest quality, combining such elements as Calacatta marble with antiqued brass, leather upholstery, timber flooring and fluted and hammered glass screens. The colour palette majors on tones of terracotta, stone and sand; in the public areas, an abundance of planting connects with the park outside.
The design for the 132 all-suite guestrooms is smart and contemporary with mid-20th Century style furnishings, textural fabrics, warm timber and modern outdoor seating collections on the balconies.
