Harmony and balance
A new hotel located on Dundee’s waterfront opposite the inspirational V&A, Scotland’s first design museum, the AC Dundee incorporates simplicity and clean lines and celebrates materiality and form. Elegantly designed pieces are juxtaposed with character, deviations in the colour palette are subtle and interior architectural elements are interposed to create layers of drama.
twenty2 degrees designed all the public areas, which flow from one to the other along the waterside façade, as well as all the guestrooms. We brought the outdoors in by referencing the striking horizontal concrete panels of the V&A’s facades in interior elements and placed emphasis on original artwork and styling to achieve a unique and harmonious guest experience.
