International polish; local provenance
A project which began as a refurbishment of the conference and meeting room floor, expanded into a comprehensive re-configuration and redesign of the ground floor public areas and then the design of additional guestrooms in a new extension. The red thread was Marriott’s guidelines which we layered with features specific to this hotel, reflecting the provenance of Prague. Key to the new ground floor plan was the relocation of the staircase to reveal the bar and restaurant beyond.
The hotel now exudes a warm and modern elegance with eye-catching touches inspired by the Czech Cubist movement.
